Stop saying Democrats have no plan on guns. Here’s the plan.

@JamesGleick @suldrew Like seriously, I understand the realpolitik reasons why neither Biden nor Obama want to seriously touch this. But don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining. "Please let's now do this thing we did not actually do when we actually had the ability to do it" is not a plan of action.

@memory @suldrew “Trifecta”? You can’t be that naive. The Democrats have not have the power to enact these measures in the face of a Republican blockade.

They’ve said exactly what they want to do. Do you want that, too? Then figure out how to help them.
