Stop saying Democrats have no plan on guns. Here’s the plan.

@memory @JamesGleick @suldrew It was a very weak trifecta. It was not strong enough to get past the filibuster, and not strong enough to get rid of the filibuster. The two D Senators who made sure the filibuster is still in place are…???

@jimluther @JamesGleick @suldrew 2020 was a weak trifecta. 2008 was anything but.

Again: sure, there are reasons it doesn't happen. But putting out a press release asking for congress to do something you're going to spend zero time whipping your own votes for, nevermind attempting to horse-trade the other side for is the opposite of a plan of acton.
