AI is already impacting creative industries. My hope is that we may have a say in how AI is guided, moving forward. Fingers crossed: I've applied to represent the Presentation Guild at the US Copyright Office sessions on Artificial Intelligence as effects creatives. If accepted, I'll be addressing the USCO at the May 17 session on Audiovisual Works. Grateful to USCO for taking seriously the need to mitigate the negative impact of AI on our professions. AI is amazing; mindfulness and harm reduction are imperative. All sessions are via Zoom, 10am–1pm PT/1pm–4pm ET Attendance open to all; must register in advance.
