I feel like people forgot that blogs are a thing. There’s plenty of totally free and decent options for them too. Currently I’m liking Blogger, Wordpress dot com is another solid option or there’s self hosting.

If it’s more than 500 characters it’s a blog post!

That said a cat rescue I help with social media for frequently goes over 500 chars, so many our posts go to threads or 2-3, but never more and even that feels like pushing it.
