Kashif Shah@msquebanh How much would you charge for an audio explanation of parts of your understanding of who the Teochew people are? I could totally see that taking off on Kickstarter, for example. I’d find listening to that easier than trying to internalize the Wikipedia entry, for example.
@KashifShah Teochew people, had huge diaspora & heavy narratives editing by imperialist China, which destroyed our peoples true histories. They lie.
It's only by talking to/exchanging with anthropologists, who study Teochew peoples - combined w/my own ancestral oral traditions sharing - have I begun to really understand my peoples struggles & battles to avoid genocide.
We're still here. We're still distinct. My imperial resistor fam got slaughtered & ones who survived are my ancestors.
@msquebanh is there a particular hashtag i should look at to follow your previous writings on the Teochew? #teochew ? or any of them, as I now see that there are even tags for #TeochewCooking , awesome!
