SO many artists, amazing artists, gamedevs, writers, etc, feel like crap and feel like what they're making doesn't matter--
because its rare that people actually *say* "Hey what you're making is pretty cool! It's made a difference in my life!"
I actually save comments where people say nice things about my artwork. ^_^

Maggie Maybe@UnconventionalEmma I think the Twitter grifters ruined that for me, I would complement peoples work, they would ask me if I want to buy it, I would explain that I’m broke, then they would block me. It was weird AF.
And now that I’m saying this, the only one I can specifically “name” is that Tony guy with the stick figure drawings he tries to sell for hundreds of dollars, but still. Twitter grifters ruined that for me.
