Any reason to not scrub and recycle all my <= 2TB 3.5" SATA spinners? I generally keep old hardware forever but just can't imagine me ever using any of those again.

Ended up with this pile of drive e-waste. Hope Best Buy still has a drop off.

@paul i know at best buy there is a box of used electronics that are going to be thrown out, i usually steal alot of that box

@paul ssd and hdds, my old phone, a pi, laptop and a few other things
i also go there as a way to save money, not picky with what i get, i usually clean it up and fix it, way cheaper than brand new
