So phone link people, can I have both an iPhone and Android connected, or does it have to be either/or?
@TechEnthusiast I can’t wait to try pairing my iPhone with my Windows PC. It still says that feature is coming soon for me.
@mikedoise @TechEnthusiast I don't have Windows 11 yet or I'd try it.
@kev @mikedoise I wish more of us had it, seems like one of those things which is so new to us that we'd do well to figure it out together. All you do is scan a QR code and follow directions, but at least for me, something is still getting hung up along the way. I even tried manually pairing, and that flakes too
@TechEnthusiast @kev @mikedoise I got onto the release preview insider flight so I could test some new stuff safely, and it's not working for me either. Acted like it was going to the first time but got stuck, so I restarted. Now my phone skips past scanning the QR code to pairing Bluetooth and Windows still shows the QR code. Tried reinstalling the app on my phone and resetting it on my computer. No luck.
@Laniebird91 @kev @mikedoise the weird thing is that I can see call history just fine. This lack of message history has to be an iMessage limitation
@TechEnthusiast @kev @mikedoise Yeah I think I read about that in some of the articles announcing being able to connect iPhones. You'll only see the messages that come in, and you can't send group messages or messages with media either.
@Laniebird91 @kev @mikedoise At the moment, I can only see my own messages. I've tried it with two people so far, and only my stuff is showing up. I haven't tried making a call yet, but that's next on my agenda.
