@drrimmer @MichaelWestMedia can't we just have a (functioning) #COAG back and get on with things?!

@drrimmer @MichaelWestMedia
The article is released on 2/05/2023
The FOI material was released on "Monday" - that'd be yesterday.
And it took over 18 months since the request.

Just how long has Albo been PM?

49 weeks?
So as well as Scottie total psychopath and Minister for Everything, this request has been blocked by [expletives deleted] Albo.

I got this right?

@skua The #FOI system is in a terrible state - the new commissioner quit after less than a year https://www.smh.com.au/politics/federal/foi-commissioner-quits-after-less-than-a-year-in-the-job-20230306-p5cptq.html

@drrimmer
Thanks Matthew.

So Abbott then Turnbull then Morrison try to stop their dirty little government secrets coming out by leaving the Commissioner role unfilled.

Yowsas.

And Albo puts one in pronto. Which says things about his commitment to transparency.
And that Commissioner says that he needs far greater powers if he is to be held responsible for the functioning of FOI.

Hope Albo gets onto to fixing this today.
