Is there a reliable way to *roughly* estimate the power output of a laser by sight? At least to an order of magnitude?

I bought a lightsab–err, laser pointer off of TEMU and it seems a lot stronger than what it's labeled for.

@d1pl0mat How much is it supposed to be? Once in a lecture, the laser pointer in the hall was broken and a student gave his pointer to the lecturer. I think it was a 5mW green laser and still everybody in the room had to look away for a moment, when they used it for the first time...
