Pulled up into a campsite on The Peloponnese #Greece. Going to be bbq-ing a rabbit for supper. Just fried up its liver with butter, thyme & garlic as a starter. Wow!

You can't eat poor bunnies 😭😭😱
@Cobweb I refuse to be sentimental about what animals we eat. Either we must be vegetarian, and eat no meat or fish at all, or we must face the fact that just because we consider something cute doesn’t mean it should be off the menu. Mostly what’s acceptable is purely cultural anyway. The most important thing, if we do eat meat, is to try & make sure it’s been extremely well cared for before it hits our plate. Both for the beast & for the taste.
@CatherineRussell2 @Cobweb As a vegetarian I accept that people love their meat. My vegetarianism is not in relation to animals. It was how I was bought up. I had animals to be eaten later. My husband told my eldest daughter, when he cooked a rabbit, that it was underground chicken. She hasn't touched a rabbit since. I did eat meat for 4 years and found it wasn't for me. I can't handle the smell of lamb being oven cooked. My twin eats meat even though we were bought up the same with food.
