made #seedBalls today. last time I threw out seeds, there were a lot of birds, and I thought they might have helped themselves to some seeds. Anyway, there was a night or two of frost, and I still don't see any sprouts even after sowing seeds in March, too.

The first batch of seed pellets didn't have enough clay. I ran out of daylight long before I ran out of seeds. I couldn't find dry clay in local stores, but I found moist clay in an arts & crafts store.

@gardening made some more #seedballs today. The ones I made two weeks ago turned grey like the clay and then disappeared after the rain! Today, I added seeds like tomato and sunflower but not watermelon because it's not quite time.
@gardening today, I saw some seed balls in the garden even though it rained a couple days. Last time, they disappeared after the rain. Today, their color was dark again, and some seeds seemed to protrude. They were gray when I tossed them into my garden.
@gardening Today, I think I see a little green sprout starting to protrude from one 🙂 #gardening #seedballs
Here's a picture of the #seedball with a green sprout. It actually has two. #gardening #seedballs @gardening
It looks like some ants have been drilling holes into the #seedballs. We probably haven't been getting enough rain for anything that germinated to have continued to grow. Chance of rain over the next few days, so I'm going to sow some more seeds. #gardening
sunflower seedling spotted beside #seedball! probable alfalfa sprouts spotted. some clover sprouts. I could go out there and cut some of the grass. finally, a damaged seed ball with a sunflower seed husk nearby. #gardening @gardening
