I visited a #FoodBank yesterday (as part of a Report for Work, not thankfully as a client)

It was decorated with Charles III images and bunting.

Nothing says Britain 2023 than a Food Bank celebrating a Billionaire with a Gold Hat that we're all paying for.

FYI, I'm working on a Food Bank Report focusing on local community food banks rather than larger organisations like Russel Trust. to identify best practices and garner closer ties with councils and suppliers.

We shouldn't have them.

We shouldn't need them.

But while we do, let's make them as best as they can be.

@jdpoc yes. Noticed all the charity shops in town tarted up with coronation garbage yesterday. I know the pomp and circumstance is, for many, a popular thing but for Vimes' sake give it a bloody rest!

The real question is, did the royalty's personal wealth pay for all that signage, or did the public pay for it? I know barely anything about UK affairs, but they cynic in me says the tories found a way to pay for it using taxes.
