@Njord Merchant for sure. I'm not trying to die to a rogue kobold arrow.
@AliceVie Yeah. I'd go mage or merchant, but really I'd want to be a magic shop mage, I think
@Njord That sounds cozy. I've long wanted to play a traveling merchant in a D&D game and just let the players escort me between cities as I hock my goods and grease palms to help the adventurers find more treasures to sell. I've yet to find an opportunity. Perhaps that should just be a GM-controlled NPC in one of my games instead.
@Njord Healer, I'd be a monk-style healer. Like a battle-mage but for heals
@Njord idk how this is even a question, you can literally do all but 1 or 2 irl, and of those two, one is just kind of a narrow subset of the other
@Njord Rogue, in part because if I find myself in need of magic, I can always Use Magic Device my way to some of the magic, at least.
@Njord I picked healer, but my actual preference is bard.
@Njord no cleric? 8-(
@oblomov Clerics are a healer. I used healer, because some people might like the concept of a healer, but not the religious overtones

@Njord well, clerics are more than just healers, but I get the point 8-)

Now I want to play a campaign with an atheist cleric 8-D

@Njord I can be a rogue, warrior or merchant irl. Only a mage is truly unique
