Talking with people from the office here, apparently my experiences of never having trouble coming in to or out of SBA is quite the streak of luck. That's now come to an end.
At least American Air has been nicely responsive on the birb site to give me some tips on how to deal if I miss my connection in PHX
When is 3 hours not enough layover time?
When your flight is leaving rinky dink SBA and gets delayed 3+ hours.
Gonna end up missing my connection most likely. Such means I'll have to catch a new connection through Philly then home. Won't be home until probably 7am tomorrow now.
Maybe from now on I got through LAX and desk with that Uber cost/key the company pay for that. SBA is ridiculous.
Stuck in PHX for another 6 hours because of delay shenanigans.
