Microsoft is done with major Windows 10 updates

Windows 10 22H2 will be the final version of the operating system, Microsoft said in a blog post on Thursday. Microsoft will end support for Windows 10 on October 14th, 2025.

@sarif i figure the day that 'anything i wish to play on steam will get feature parity on steam os from windows' is the day windows is no longer needed for gaming. and THEN.. shit will get wild.

@Viss well, by definition Windows sucks :) but, my only Windows 11 machine is my son's computer that he uses for gaming, besides that I only run Windows inside a VM. From what I could see, they keep improving that WSL thing, also it appears less cluttered in terms of UI and more "MACish".
