I hate peddling my own wares but I'm a stubborn fool who decided to make my career in the arts because I probably wasn't good for much else. Unfortunately, this makes wares-peddling kind of unavoidable. So, if you like abandoned places, I have signed copies of my first book, "Abandoned America: The Age of Consequences" on sale with a free 5x7 print. Well, folks, I got an absolute TON of book orders - far, far more than I expected - and am feeling very thankful for all of you who ordered them, boosted this, and/or are just generally supportive and kind. There were so many orders I had to order more books from my publisher and get more shipping boxes too. Let none say that the Fediverse community doesn't support the arts. Finally got the extra books and packing supplies and spent the day boxing all the book orders for shipment on Monday. I have literally never sold so many books at once - 47! I really appreciate the support, hope you folks all enjoy them, and I am very tired 😴

Seriously kind of stunned that I got the response I did. When I post about selling books 10 sales is usually a pretty high number. The Fediverse is a force to be reckoned with.

@WhatTheChel thank you so much! That makes me so happy! The photo is either a greenhouse at Pennhurst State School and Hospital or the Palace Theatre in Bridgeport. Both are likely going to be in my next book 😊

@AbandonedAmerica It is weird that the thumbnail renders but doesn't show up on the actual page. Don't overwork yourself tomorrow. We can be patient. Sort of. (I'm kidding... 😂)
