Canada's Public Service is 2nd to none, had our backs in a pandemic , put bread and butter on tables when we were called lazy frauds and employers said Fk you come in and die or go on the poverty line while on Champagne and excess pandemic profits we dine

@PBruce been there, done that. 😎. Jobs are very different within the CRA and government. A union cannot state unilaterally that all jobs it covers can be done remotely. This is really a management call, albeit with strong guidelines needed. I hope this does not hold up talks.

As you imply the union is merely asking for the terms of employment to be documented in a collective agreement & this is a negotiating starting point & not a deal breaker.

If management cannot articulate their policy that is on them, I'm very unconerned about this strike, as nothing unusual, & anticipate agreement will be reached.

If workers decide to stay out that's fine with me. Their choice
