Teens can sign out ebooks + audiobooks from wherever they
live.
The move is designed to combat censorship, with some titles listed as "always available."

@notsle I'm not sure they're still doing this. I paid $50 per year for an out of state Brooklyn Public Library card, but they discontinued that program a few months ago.

I'm not sure what they did with the free teen program.
