Tokodon is a Mastodon client for Linux that's been gaining fanfare. It's excellent for managing multiple accounts.

I had no idea Tokodon was made by the official KDE team.

It looks beautiful -- even if the UI is a tad text heavy.

Personally, I like text. It lets you know exactly what you're doing. Too much abstraction through icons does not make good usability.

KDE apps like Kdenlive get big upgrades for KDE Gear 23.04

KDE Gear is the name of the big bundle of software the KDE team create, and with the KDE Gear 23.04 release there's new apps and plenty of improvements to making the desktop experience better.

Are there any other applications that have a Tweetdeck-like feel outside of the Advanced Web View?

@Marcus "MajorLinux" Summers Have you tried TheDesk yet?

It's a client made for power users, for it lets you view multiple accounts simultaneously without having to switch if you so choose. Let me put it this way: Ultra-wide screens suddenly start making sense with this client.

I haven't tried what else except Mastodon it can be used with, though. MissKey compatibility wouldn't surprise me, seeing as #TheDesk is made in Japan.
TheDesk - Mastodon Client for PC

@jupiter_rowland I feel like there is a reason I haven't used it, but I don't know.

Time to circle back...
