@to3k @f1 I heated the name Schumacher but I wouldn’t pick him. As a ‘new’ team a experienced driver is a must. Norris or Albon might be a good fit. And what about Sainz and/or Leclerc. The latter probably stays at Ferarri. Next to the experienced driver get a talent.

@IngenieurStefan @f1 A lot may change through all these years till 2026 😉 But one I can 100% agree and it’s that a new team needs an experienced driver. Surprisingly Schumacher jr may be that guy as he will get a lot of experience in Mercedes even as 3rd (reserve) driver. This is probably better for him than being 1st or 2nd in Williams or Haas IMO 😉 Ricciardo would be probably also good, but I would rather pick some rookie from F2 instead 😉

@to3k @IngenieurStefan @f1 Bottas was actually racing for merc and is already driving for the team that will develop the car. Not a Bottas fan, just pointing out that it’s not a new team per se, only a new engine developer
