jay_chiSo, tonight while I was at the Jewel, there was a kerfuffle:
Two persons (a couple) shoplifted and were detected. When confronted in the parking lot by security, they assaulted the store security, then ran away on foot.
5 minutes later, a car with 2 unattended children was noticed by security.
CPD was brough into the situation.
Now the offenders have a choice. Be arrested for shoplifting, or be arrested for abandoning their children.
