@ESGHound Biggest differences I notice compared to Twitter:
- Use plenty of relevant hashtags, they’re not cringe in here like they are in Twitter. There’s no algorithm boosting things; people follow a particular hashtag, so that’s a good discovery mechanism
- PR-like posts (common on Twitter) aren’t well received, posts that are obviously written by a human and encourage dialog get a lot of retweets
- A follower here is much more valuable than a follower on any other sort of social network. Followers are guaranteed to see your posts - that’s a better conversion than an email mailing list (spam/updates tab), let along the “maybe my followers will see” on FB/Insta/Twitter
