Mx. BleauToday I had to do an emergency data transfer (of 3.5TBs) to a secondary system, as the primary network volume was at the point (80%) it was going to start causing performance degradation. This is a temporary solution until the housing for our expansion unit arrives in a month. This should hopefully stem the problem until that unit arrives. Now just to hope that the auxiliary unit can handle the traffic it is about to get. 😬
The expansion unit has been marked as shipped! It should be arriving sometime next week, increasing the capacity by ~380%. This is to account for the rate of growth with our net systems. Once it is here the mass migration & data restructuring will start. 😱
