Even tho your idea isn't bad, following and using #hashtags is way more important in my opinion and might have a way better/interesting result.

The tool #hashtag has been destroyed but actually it works against "follow me follow you", idolatry, narrowing the input of your mind because you only are exposed to what your peers are exposed.

The tw and fb world is a world of "influencers". You really just want to recreate that out here?

why?

It's my belief that the ability to "rebroadcast formerly censored news" is an important thing social media does. Maybe the MOST important. (e.g. police brutality videos, etc)

If the price one pays for that is "influencer bullshit," I mean I'm not in love with it -- but I think it's still worth it.

Apparently influencer will always exist, at least in the monotheistic societies. Thing is if we even foster and promote that people more. I mean, Elon is an influencer, Gates is, Adolf Nazi was.

Diversity is the most resilent setup there is, monopolization always shows up so I consider we should do as much as possible to foster diversity and new input.

When ever things stir up and people gather behind, the recursive arousal happens by itself.

Also, "influencer" = single persons are single point of failures.

You take out MLK, or JFK, or Malcom, or twitter and in the first place everything crumbles down and it takes time and effort to rebuild, recreate and restructure.
It's like the graph about centralized and decentralized.

Do you want people to become free, think and evolve for themselves or do you want them to be "followers"?

Without any doubt that's of the important aspects of connecting people directly.

In my opinion the most important aspect is the free flow of information so we as humanity are able to find the little diamonds of knowledge in a sea of information that might enable the survival of the species itself.
