Again, instead of denoting Indian River with (wtd jam), why not just write Welcome to Delta or rename this as Indian River Delta? The jam IS the song WTD, unless I’m missing something here. #goose
I will die on this hill. #goose folks who’ve taken up the mantle of being the online arbiters of setlists, what gives? Are we no longer calling Welcome to Delta, Welcome to Delta? @ry_storm@Madisonhuvan@902Vickers
@Madisonhuvan@ry_storm@902Vickers I would agree that it’s becoming that way, it started with the cap theater show. But they didn’t do it in Nashville. I just love a setlist that tells me what happened, so Indian River>WTD isn’t hard, but is accurate.
@Phreba@ry_storm@Madisonhuvan@902Vickers I've seen you being the flag bearer of this movement. The last 3 versions have had it tacked on including the monster Madison version last week. However, 12/31/21 was standard. Two incarnations before that was a standard version (10/7/22) and 2 and 3 versions before that (8/16/22 and 8/25/22) was standard as well. While its trending in that direction (and I, for one, hope it continues), it's no lock.... #goose
@Jboldt1228@ry_storm@Madisonhuvan@902Vickers don’t think they did it in TN but 3 of last 4 it’s there. But; to your larger point about trending and not there, all the more reason we should be naming WTD the song, not just jam.
@Phreba@Madisonhuvan@902Vickers I’ve spoken to the band about it and note it as a jam according to how they see it - if they play Delta on its own again then it will be noted separately
@Kathleenatl@vriphish76@ry_storm@Madisonhuvan@902Vickers we solved this Ryan, the people have spoken, setlists should reflect what actually happened. This goes back to community driven setlists that predate a band putting setlists online. If I wrote out a j card for a goose tape, it would say Indian River>WTD. Think GD setlists that have “supplication jam” written into it. That’s kind of what I’m getting at here, the list should reflect what occurred. Plus; stats!!! Fug I’m old…
