@matuzo I’ve stopped using it completely. Last time I checked my – still existing – account was back in February or so. I’m still unsure whether I should delete my account completely. It would free the handle. The alternative would be to delete all tweets. But I have no idea whether this still works automatically after the API changes…? 🤔

@matuzo Music and cute animals aka everything that keeps me sane. Plus some close connections who won't move because Mastodon isn't an adequate replacement - it's a nightmare for a non-technical person, it doesn't have a proper search, it doesn't have proper DMs, etc..

Haven't seen any band that I care about move to Mastodon and since I'm not on fb or ig, twitter is my only option when it comes to finding out about tours and stuff like that. And my only option to stay in touch with some people.

It feels like being told to leave this country because as long as I'm here and pay taxes here, I'm financially supporting that fucker Daniel (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patriarch_Daniel_of_Romania) and the mafia institution he leads.

But guess what? I was born before that fucker became the head of the church. I was on twitter before Elon. I'm not giving up taking flowers to my grandmother's grave and I'm not giving up staying up to date with things and people I care about.

@matuzo I used Twitter side by side with Mastodon (@elk client ♥️), then stopped writing on Twitter. When the twitter logo was replaced by the Dodgecoin dog icon, that was a good last nudge for me to log out of Twitter on all devices.
