@auschwitzmuseum My first exposure to the Holocaust as an adult came from reading Leon Uris book, Mila 18, about the Warsaw uprising.
As a child, I had seen the videos of dead bodies stacked like cordwood (a 60 year old memory that will never fade) but starting w/the book I began to understand from an adult perspective.
I can here to say that. Mila 18. What a perspective, it stays with me too, nearly 50 years after I read it.
