Big news! Today I'm launching a new project and would like to hear your feedback.

The project is called NetFinder, and it's designed to be the definitive Ham Radio net directory.

It's early days and very ambitious, but there's enough there to start kicking the tires. I'd love to hear what you think!

Introducing NetFinder - The Definitive Ham Radio Net Directory

NetFinder is a new project serving as the central source of net information among Amateur Radio operators.

@K4HCK neat! Suggestion to add a marker for slow CW nets. See the list/calendar by @sergio_101.
@W1CDN @sergio_101 Yes! This is a great idea. I'll add it to the to-do list. Looking forward to digging into that list of nets as well.

@K4HCK I assume local repeater nets are allowed as well? There's no category for analog FM.

Also doesn't look like a way to edit a repeater. I put an offset on the 2m frequency and it shows up as a 160m net.

@W1CDN very much so. No way to edit a repeater yet, but that will come. No offset field at the moment since most radios sort that out, but could add one if a need surfaces.

What’s the repeater call sign? I can adjust it in the DB directly

@K4HCK @W1CDN it would be awesome if we could filter by #QRS #MorseCode nets. Gonna check this out this weekend.
@sergio_101 @W1CDN It's on the to-do list! I think that would be a great addition.
@sergio_101 @W1CDN Is "Slow CW" a generally agreed upon term?

@K4HCK @W1CDN I have seen "slow speed", "slow need", and "slow speed net"..

It might be a good idea to have an attribute like "qrs_friendly?" so you can set that to true, as many on air activities (like century club) are totally slow speed friendly, but don't have it in their name.

@K4HCK I love the idea! When I was digging around for nets to connect my Allstar repeater too, it was painfully obvious that some sort of directory would def. be helpful!
@N3VEM thanks! That’s an excellent use case. I agree there’s a gap that those modes could be filling. Hopefully this project will help.
@K4HCK Got to poke around a bit more tonight - looks great so far! I registered, and added a handful of nets that happen in my area - I'll try to keep doing that a few here and there as I have time, to help build out the list
@N3VEM Wonderful, thank you! I think that's the way to go. I expect this project to expand slowly over time.
@K4HCK sounds good. I just have one concern: will it list individuals? If so, will it be opt-in?
@Montag It doesn't track who checks in to a net if I'm understanding the question correctly. Strictly a directory of net times and frequencies.
@K4HCK good luck and hopefully you can make a good product
