OK seriously though. What’s *your* tactical ballgown? You know the clothing item or accessary people would normally dismiss as utterly impractical and maybe *too much* but which actually helps you be effective in a crucial or unexpected way?

What's your tactical ballgown?
So, what’s your tactical ballgown? You know, the clothing item or accessory people would normally dismiss as utterly impractical and too much but which actually helps you be effective in a crucial or unexpected way? Most people, I think, have something like that. Some outfit or item of clothing that just makes you feel like your most powerful and fabulous self in a way that helps you navigate the world more effectively.
tim@dys_morphia I don't think I have any clothing items like that. For me, clothing is pretty strictly a tool and my (new-ish) mantra for tools is that I want to think about them as little as possible. I'm trying to optimize my wardrobe around clothing that I forget I'm wearing, so I can spend my focus on things that are important to me.
