The Child Labor Amendment to the United States Constitution, sadly & shamefully not ratified by three-fourths of the states yet.

What the proposed & to-be ratified Amendment says:

"Section 1. The Congress shall have the power to limit, regulate, and prohibit the labor of persons under eighteen years of age.

Section 2. The power of the several States is unimpaired by this article except that the operation of State laws shall be suspended to the extent necessary to give effect to legislation enacted by the Congress."

America needs parties, that are serving & supporting the people on their way to a sustainable & prosperous future, not the other way around & not a fake "GOP"/ Confedereds* stuck in the slaveholder barbarity, inhumanity, cruelty & assholism of the 19th century.

They're not just making laws & policies to threaten the lives of eg pregnant women, underage kids, besides anyone else by profiteering on the refusal to pass vital anti-gun laws —
They're rebelling against the authority of the United States.

Many laws restricting child labor were passed as part of the Progressive Era reform movement. But ***many Southern states resisted***, leading to the decision to work for a federal child labor law. While Congress passed such laws in 1916 and 1918, the Supreme Court declared them unconstitutional."

@DemocracyMattersALot they want parents to force their kids out of school and into work. No school - dumb labor slaves that do anything their masters say so long as they get barely enough money to survive.
