I was admiring the Yellow-rumped Warblers when someone showed me his Merlin app picking up the Prothonotary Warbler. I told him no way, but look for a bright yellow bird. Shortly after he showed me his phone picture and I heard the unmistakable song. Thus later when my Merlin picked up Indigo Bunting, I didn't just wave it off...but I think it was a mistaken identity...it'd be waaay too early. #birding
