I know statistics don't matter, but California has a slightly lower than average murder rate for the US. Mississippi has the highest rate.
The narrative that blue states have more crime is simply a lie.

@silverhorseman @Popehat A LOT of people who cite California's "high crime rate" do so by using the raw numbers, not statistics. Of *course* there's more crime! There's *more people*!
