This interview bite with Elon Musk is interesting. The Daily Caller unsurprisingly spin it as a rhetorical victory for Elon, and the comments are cheering at how good he is at cornering a journalist from BBC. But really, I think we here get a glimpse at Elon's leadership style. A bully who refuses to acknowledge relevant objections to his decisions, and instead uses personal attacks to intimidate opposition and derail the discussion. If I were the #BBC, I wouldn't give #ElonMusk the oxygen of publicity, particularly given his attack on them. But they are prone to grovel for bullies.

This reporter was far too nice towards Musk. They needed a #JeremyPaxman to go for the jugular.

@anderspuck it was quite obvious that when he found out the journalist didn't have a specific example, he doubled down on that and based his entire argument on this.

Earlier, he went from "BBC has made mistakes , too" to somehow using that to justify bringing back people who'd spread disinformation. The real comparison would have been if BBC brought back sources who'd been caught lying multiple times before.

The journalist obviously didn't do very well but that is very different from Musk having good arguments.

@mk Good point. Not seeing the difference between mistakes and misinformation is quite concerning, if you are the chief moderator of Twitter.
