🚨NEW PROJECT ALERT🚨

I'm going to start publishing a weekly newsletter called Masthead.

Each week I'll talk to a person on Mastodon doing cool stuff. You can subscribe here: http://tinyletter.com/masthead

I hope you like it!

@chosafine
my thought process:
- amaizing someone is start doing it, was also thinking about
- boost
- let's subcribe
- putting e-mail in
- checking what this new #FLOSS #tinyletter is like
- reading it is #mailchimp BULLSHIT
- leaving the page wondering why ppl keep on doing that
@paulfree14 setting up my own mail server is a bit of a headache and tiny letter is the only service that doesn't require I put my home address on each newsletter. I'm sorry

@chosafine
as I said you're ignoring the alternatives.
If you feel offended by my calling you ignoring you should think about it.
You're in a community with ppl working their asses of for making #FLOSS.

Asuming there is no alternative and maybe even not taking the time, 'hey anyone can advice me a ''#opensource newsletter tool? '' that is ignorant.

...sry if it sounds harsh, but that's what it is to me.

@paulfree14 someone did point me towards http://list.org/ but I do not have the time to manage a mail server and such at the moment.

Nor do I have enough to pay someone to manage one for me.

I'll always try and use an open source alternative when I can but sometimes the need for convenience is stronger than my want for a free alternative

@chosafine I stick since a while to only use #opensource.
Never needed to use a software which wasn't as good as propertairy once. ...indeed often better.
...all it takes me is some more energy in researching cause #seo is a strenge of capitalism.
If you're interested I might can point you some alternatives. (once I'm on the computer I can send some)

also as I said you are in a community with a lot of #FLOSS folks.
It's still ignorant to believe there would be no one hosting

@chosafine You can talk to me! I'm making a visual novel.
@jaycie oooh I'd def be interested in doing so!
