We're still hiring for devs at all levels at my new employer! Give me a shout.

We're also less interested in specific tech backgrounds than in general aptitude and potential. Offices across the globe!

Even though I'm not on Twitter anymore, I see lots of blog posts starting off with some variation of "People are divided! Can't we all just get along?" or "People are so wrong about this! I'll set them straight." Invariably it always turns out that the author got their view of the world from Twitter.

Twitter is not the world. The world is not divided and angry and fighting over every minor thing. It just looks that way if you spend all day using Twitter.

What's the most recommended service for self-printing books these days?

Paid work: Someone who can do the print layout for a novel from a Scrivener source file. The text is essentially complete (need to apply line edits, add the colophon, etc.).

Please reply here or email me at [email protected]. Boosts appreciated. Thanks!

Going to unload some good books (the kind I've been meaning to read for years but would have read by now if it was ever going to happen). If you can pay for shipping from the US, I'll send you one. First come, first serve. Boosts okay.
Looking to pay someone with Scrivener experience to apply prepared line edits to a manuscript. Quick turnaround required. Reply here or email me at [email protected]. Boosts appreciated.
Serious question: What's the folk history of "pineapple on pizza" on Mastodon? I'm planning to reference it in a lightning talk.
Don't worry, ma'am, I'm a fox. I've know what I'm doing.
"Nagging" isn't a thing. It's a concept invented to make women* feel bad for asking when something will be done. After they have asked before and the "nagged" person already said "yes" but didn't bother following through.
