sometimes I think about being the change I want to see in the world but it'd require learning gtk (or maybe qt). i've found it to be a very easy task to kick off into the future.
really though, I've found fedora + swaywm to be such a pleasant desktop experience so far. the only things I really miss from macos are a good calendar app (a la fantastical or busycal) and email.app.
@kjcl yup plain ol fedora which has been great so far. I haven't tried silverblue yet (immutable os seems like a wormhole I've yet to motivate myself to dive into yet). do you use it as your main os then?
@steve I use it as my main personal OS. I think the coolest thing so far has been fearless upgrades. (Regression? I just revert to the previous image.) There's some things I'm unhappy with but I deal.
