Elon Musk is now fighting with Paul Graham about Substack. Substack's biggest investor is A16z who also invested $400m in Elon's Twitter so that's going to be AMAZING, I want everyone involved to lose and that's what's going to happen.
@seldo They didn’t invest in Twitter to make it work. They want the Democrats to fail and #Twitter was a good place for Democrats to organize & strategize No one who backed musk actually wants Twitter to succeed.
@Pineywoozle I don't buy a grand evil plan when the explanation of them all being really dumb works just as well.
@seldo @Pineywoozle
Hanlon: Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.
@Johny28 @seldo Research : Never speculate when the facts are staring you in the face. Nothing that Elon has done has increased revenue. His well advertised Dogecoin gambit to sell bitcoin to the idiots so they would buy blue checkmarks fell flat on it’s face when bitcoin tanked, & when almost no one would buy the blue checks. From that point on every single decision has damaged Democrats ability to use Twitter effectively without massive interference from the farR.
@Pineywoozle @seldo
This may certainly be a case of malice. Musk's actions look like stupidity, but maybe that's what he's counting on.
@Johny28 @seldo I kind of think that Elon started out as a useful idiot. He had great plans to make money. None of them worked. Plan B for Elon is due with the people who invested wanted, which is trash Twitter. His views are aligned with theirs, but I think the moving force is the investors. Elon is just a classic mark, he’s stupid, ego, driven and easily manipulated just like Trump.
