@kkarhan @SwiftOnSecurity I have semi-mixed feelings about security theater. When the need is publicity, security theater is a solution.
Keeping it for 20 years as if it actually does something though? That ... that bugs me.
Welcome to the "for the children" ratchet, where restrictions can never be removed because of "risk", but new restrictions can always be added for reasons.
@kilpatds @SwiftOnSecurity Personally, I hate all this bs actionism since it really boils down into normalizing facist structures and Modi Operandi.
