Long ago when it seemed to be all about Oasis and Blur, I loved Suede.

Sadly that love drifted and faded a little. Too many years and some iffy albums.

When this was released last year I wondered if I would ever love them like ‘that’ again.

This is all big choruses dramatic sweeping songs that hardly let up the pace, all delivered with passion and intensity I adore.

Simply glorious.

I still love Suede.

@Constantine @vinylrecords I finally got to see them at the end of last year and it was one of the most enthralling shows I’ve ever seen. They’ve still got it, indeed.

@Driveblind They seem to have maintained a passion and verve for their music for a long time and that translates into utterly compelling live shows.

That said I missed out on seeing them during the tour for this album but Brett seems to get better with age!
