I scratched my eye or it’s infected on the Thursday before a long weekend in Canada 😫. All vets are closed 😩 so we are in an emerg clinic but keep getting bumped as we are (thankfully) not super serious. ❀️ Hopefully we are able to be seen soon. πŸ’œ

My poor little eye. But I’ve got drops now and the vet says I’ll be as good as new in 5-7 days ❀️!

@MartineBunny Awww thank you for the well wishes. πŸ₯° I’m keeping it closed because it is so ouchy and that helps! Can you believe they didn’t give me painkillers?? 😱 I’m still eating like a champ and getting so much extra love. Mum is monitoring me so I don’t rub it at all. She ordered a donut collar arriving later today but she doesn’t think I’ll like it πŸ˜‚πŸ’œ

No painkillers, emerg maybe didn’t have any for rabbits πŸ˜’. They were not an exotic ER - no one around- we felt ok seeing them in this case because eye pokes/infections are similar to all.

Mum said infection or eye poke so vet wanted to do a tear duct flush. β€œI’ve never done one before, I’ve heard rabbits get that, I’ll have to Google how to do it..” Mum steered her away from that nonsense. πŸ›‘ The staining cornea check confirmed the culprit! πŸ’œ

@MartineBunny Anything for my baby girl! A blocked tear duct it was Definitelt not πŸ˜‚. Mum has had a tear duct flush before and it was rather unpleasant, definitely not something you do with a person Googling for directions! πŸ˜‚πŸ™ˆ
