Russian government tweets are appearing in Twitter’s algorithmically-driven “For You” feed for newly created accounts, even when they did not follow them. So Twitter is not just *showing* these Kremlin accounts — it's algorithmically *boosting* them.

@rvawonk to my understanding, it wasn't entirely clear what that Ukraine keyword really represented and could have been a label for propaganda posts regarding the war. Unless more information has become available regarding that list of keywords?

@tob @rvawonk Well, I wouldn't have assumed that was Musk's doing, but instead legacy code. Some of those other keywords are definitely not put in place by mr free speech.
