The Safari team is hiring a “Core Technologies” engineer. Role is in Cupertino, reporting to my former manager and decade-long mentor, who I personally vouch for. https://jobs.apple.com/en-us/details/200440257/software-engineer-safari-core-technologies?team=SFTWR

The Safari Search team is also hiring! This role is in San Diego. https://jobs.apple.com/en-us/details/200470488/software-engineer-safari-search?team=SFTWR

Software Engineer, Safari Core Technologies - Careers at Apple

Apply for a Software Engineer, Safari Core Technologies job at Apple. Read about the role and find out if it’s right for you.

@rmondello out of curiosity, are there Apple employees using a Windows or Linux laptop at work?

If it's an interesting engineering position, but the person doesn't like MacOS, do they survive?

@bonkers @rmondello Don’t know if they have a rule but what exactly would you be doing? Making PowerPoints? All of apple’s software requires a Mac. I could see server team using Linux. Obv they test virtualization. Otherwise you’d be locked out of any software development. Mayyybe for high end rendering they’d need a PC with an actual gpu.
@rmondello oh shit i guess apples office down here is open now?

@rmondello
It is nice to see Apple hiring again.
I do not think I'm just ready to apply just yet, but I would love to do that at some point!

Also, I have asking myself if Apple has a team to develop Apple Notes, because that App is literally my favorite and pages is all my time fav, so it would be nice to work on an app that you love, yet nevertheless, thanks for sharing!

Someday, I will have the courage to apply!
