cats also have a hearing that tops out around the 80 khz range.

this means that when your cat is eating cat grass, they are secretly also hearing the grass scream at them as it's devoured.

@AmyZenunim They mostly scream when drying out though (due to cavitation); not when eaten. When eaten they mostly crunch; you don'tneed to go to 80kHz for that ;)
