Someone: "Great video! You should watch '35 things you didn't know about Unreal, it's got relevant tips-"

Me: "Oh! Uh, sure, why not."

35 things video: "HELLO UNREALFEST! Let me ramble about crap for HOURS because all Unreal tips and documentation is required by law to be a fucking livestream! About me: I am"

Me: (Skip past the nine minute "intro")

Video: "Yup, we have terrible documentation. Here's our replacement: a livestream!"

"And we're like - hey, we already engineered that for you. And they get, you know, like, like, angry-happy that the feature's there already-"

BECAUSE. YOU. NEED. DOCUMENTATION.

There's nothing wrong with the content, a lot of this is great.

But UGHHHH this is the worst possible presentation method.

You know what one of the tips is?

"Did you know that if you add a camera track to the level sequencer, there's a toggle in the MASTER CUTS track that lets you grab an INVISIBLE PIXEL on the CAMERA track to fade it?"

Me: "I searched 'how to fade level sequence camera' for three hours yesterday and that is literally not documented in text form. Just mentioned in one fucking livestreamed video."

@Craigp writing docs isn't shipping the product and devstream videos drive metrics to the YouTube channel.
I hate it as well.
