I can't find any information about weather conditions during the #silverRush50
The athlete guide just says "Prepare for extreme weather"
I've heard it was hot from one or two people, but I'm also concerned about hail at that elevation. I'm planning on bringing a jacket (patagonia houdini air). I'd rather not take something more bulky if I won't need it.
anyone have experience?
@dominicvfx ran it last year. It was HOT down in the lower elevations and fine up high (as we came down to the finish you could feel the temps climbing). No rain or storms last year, beautiful blue sky day.
With it being CO and the summer really anything could happen. Hail. Rain. Snow. Sun. Etc.
The course is exposed up top so be prepared for full sun/wind/rain for portions.

So a lightweight jacket should be fine? The high temps seem low by my standards of living in Ga
