"In 64 councils, the Conservatives won an average of 62% of the seats with the support of just 44% of the electorate. This is a shocking democratic deficit” (Compass director, Neal Lawson).

This deficit can be overcome on May 4th but only if progressive parties co-ordinate to allow the best placed party to win and only if we get out to vote and vote tactically -
