@flexghost Musk said the quiet part out loud on this one. Twitter deliberately puts stuff that is likely to anger you into your feed. The Dem/Rep stuff is to amplify to opponents, not allies.
More upset users = more rage clicks = more time on the site = more eyeballs on ads = more revenue for Twitter.

@CrazyMyra @flexghost idk, most people center to left familiar with twitter don't have much interest in RW gaslighting anymore, & many have left or became inactive. i.e. far less eyeballs than pre-Elon.

If it goes bankrupt, his genius businessman rep to his fans is gone, because to many he has never failed before. Indeed he and trump are both on the narcissist spectrum, but they have somewhat different psychologies as well. Everyone who has some form of clinical narcissism is different level of narcissistic con man.

@slipperyhero @flexghost New Yorkers called Trump "Don the Con" for years and were perplexed at why the rest of the country bought his bullshit. We in South Africa had a similar rhyme for Musk and were equally puzzled about why the US thought he was a genius.

@CrazyMyra @flexghost I'm from the SF Bay. Only conservatives bought trump telling them the lies they wanted to hear. Indeed New York knew him best but most of the country knew he was a narcissist/con man. Musk on the other hand does deserve some credit building the 1st successful electric car & private rocketship companies & turning those into the most money in the world, regardless of how con man he was in doing it. trump deserves no credit for anything. He's just a pure ignorant con man.
