We're a regional newspaper based in Winnipeg; we don't often report on events outside Manitoba, unless they affect or involve Manitobans.
However we do publish wire-service news from around the globe, so if The Associated Press reports on this matter it would likely appear on our pages.
Oh yes, of course, but the news here relates to journalism on the Fediverse, and this is the first real test of "is it worthwhile" and our friends in Texas have proven now that, in their case, however special it may be, yes, it is VERY worthwhile. And so I thought it might interest you :)
And yes, I expect the big services will pick it up too, but you heard it first :)
