@Helen_Noonan had to explain the concept of ‘banning a book’ to my 7 year olds today. When they looked at the picture above they were first worried, confused and then angry (they owned or had borrowed quite a few of the titles shown from the library). While I don’t want to scare them, I want them to value books and realise the powerful ideas and knowledge they contain.
